Błażej Król
Błażej Król is a singer, songwriter, and composer. He previously co-founded the bands Kawałek Kulki and UL/KR, and has been pursuing a critically acclaimed solo career since 2014. His work combines alternative music with poetic lyricism, experimenting with both musical form and language. He is the recipient of the Polityka Passport Award (2019) and the Fryderyk Award for Songwriter of the Year (2020). His album Popiół (Ashes) (2025) received the Fryderyk Award for Rock & Blues Album of the Year. He also co-created the Fryderyk-nominated album Kasia i Błażej with Katarzyna Nosowska. Król is a regular contributor to the Męskie Granie concert series and frequently collaborates with artists across diverse musical and artistic fields. In 2026, he continues to develop new projects, including the band EWA KOC, while also engaging in interdisciplinary and socially oriented artistic initiatives.
