Kacper Mutke

Kacper Mutke graduated with distinction from the Multimedia Activities Laboratory at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice in 2019, earning an MA degree. His practice focuses on visual experimentation, creative coding, generative art, multimedia installations, animation, painting, VJing, and sound.
He has presented his work at exhibitions and festivals in Poland and internationally, including WRO Art Center, Zachęta Project Room, TNM, OFF Festival, Warsaw Gallery Weekend, LUNA and Young Masters in the Netherlands, Video Mapping Festival in France, and fu in Croatia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Indonesia, Turkey, North Macedonia, and China. His works have received numerous awards, including at cineRAMAfest (2017), the International Drawing Festival (2018), Śląska Rzecz (2023), and AGRAFA’19. Together with the collective tajny_projekt, he received the Audience Second Prize at Digital Ars Poland (2020), the first Polish competition dedicated to AI-based art. He has participated in artist residencies in France and Poland.

Mutke is a co-founder of tajny_projekt, a collective working in the field of new media.

He was awarded scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2018 and 2020.
