Katarzyna Borza

Katarzyna Borza holds an MA in Arts and is a graduate of the Stanisław Wyspiański Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków (Dance Theatre Department in Bytom) and the Roman Turczynowicz General Ballet School in Warsaw. She is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. Since 2021, she has been teaching classical ballet and dance history at the Dance Department of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, as well as dance and eurhythmics with elements of logorhythmics at the Acting School of the Silesian Theatre in Katowice. Since 2020, she has worked with children and young people, teaching eurhythmics, dance, and theatre through the principles of Brain Compatible Dance Education. Her research focuses on the perception of time in dance and the traditional dance practices of Poland. Since 2014, she has been training in traditional folk and historical dance forms, which she shares through workshops and choreographic projects. In 2025, she was awarded a scholarship from ZAiKS.
