Yutaro Kyono

Yutaro Kyono – representative of Kyopalab LLC. Currently a doctoral candidate in Art and Science at Keio University SFC, he also serves as a lecturer in computer science at the same university, a researcher at the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University, and an advisory creator at OCHABI Institute (Ochanomizu Art Academy). He spent ten years as CTO of a biotech startup – an experience featured on TV Tokyo’s Cambria Palace – has given a TEDx talk on the theme of curiosity, and ran a membership lounge system for a decade, bringing broad hands-on experience to the intersection of technology and creative practice. His current research asks whether lifelikeness can be given to AI, and he is preparing to launch an art-tech startup.
